Success for Swindon Schools at the School Games

The Wiltshire & Swindon School Games saw schools from across the county take part in 4 events at Dauntsey's School in rainy conditions last week.

9 schools qualified to represent Swindon in the events which included dodgeball, golf, orienteering, and quadkids, which features athletics events including long jump and the 100m sprint.

3 schools were also invited to take part in the 'Physical Activity Festival' designed for pupils who do not normally get the chance to represent their school at sporting events. The festival offered non-traditional activities like trampolining, hula-hooping, mini games, and even Quidditch, which quickly became a favourite.

All events and activities were led by ambassadors from local schools, including Bradon Forest School.

Congratulations to the winning Swindon schools, and all schools who represented Swindon at the games!
